Another Transfer in Twin

Everything this week has been going better. We had interviews with President Yardley on Friday and they went well. Elder Crook and I are going to be staying together for another transfer. I'm glad that we are together for another transfer because it's better than having to risk serving with another companion. (who might not be as compatible. lol) So last night Elder Hefler and his companion spent the night. It was a lot of fun. We just all talked and stuff and got in the hot tub lol. It was relaxing. We stayed up pretty late and I wasn't able to sleep well this morning. Eventually I fell back asleep. I'm still tired though. This week went better lesson wise and we got more names to go see. I have to tell you about one of the bishops here. He is so awesome. He is really laid back and we can pretty much tell him anything. He also jokes around a lot. Their name is the Kerrs. Their daughter drew a Saints emblem on the back of my name tag using nail polish. She does that for all the missionaries that come through here. She is really cool and she is Lindsay's age. We have 2 people committed to baptism but one of the guys who committed to it didn't committ until June. So we'll see how that turns out. We have had some service opportunities. I mowed someones lawn and helped him move stuff out his moms house a couple weeks ago. My favorite Lesson to teach is either Lesson 2 or 3. I don't why but I enjoy teaching those the best. Yeah I got the package. Thanks for the candy and stuff. Yeah I got the memory card. It was cool getting to watch the party and everything. (We had taped messages from family and friends while watching the Superbowl.) We could have a potental of at least 11 people being baptized. 5 of those would be part of a family. They're Burmese and go to church every week. The translator told us he felt they were ready to be baptized. Its hard to believe that everyone is getting married. (referring to the number of returned missionaries he's known as well as church friends) I was shocked when you said Mckenzie had gotten married. It seems like everyone is getting married. Hopefully I can get married soon after my mission. (?????)  I wanted to ask you where does Brother Williams live in Idaho now?  (Anyone know where Brennan lives now?  Is it in the Boise or Pocatello mission?)   If he lives here I would like to possibly visit him or something. So when is prom for all of them? That's cool that Mark's gf is doing that for him. (She decorated Mark's car with about 30 or more balloons and wrote him a message inviting him to her prom.  Really cute!)  That should be a pretty big suprise to him. I know I would be suprised. Well we found out one of the bishops here gave a referral to ward missionaries to teach the lessons to someone investigating the church.  (He was a little bit aggravated about this . . .     Just to explain this,  apparently the full time missionaries, i.e. Greg and his companion don't have a lot of teaching prospects in that particular ward.  Ward missionaries aren't full time missionaries, rather church members in the area who do missionary work and the bishop had contacted them instead of Greg.   I'm not sharing his more negative comments about the situation.  LOL  So the old Greg is still alive and well.    ;)   Me and Elder Crook and I  have been having to walk lately because we are out of miles on our car. Nothing really fun or exciting has happened this week. Is Lindsay going to be going with Tre to prom? Anyways I need to write dad some so I'll ttly.

Love

Elder Mattei
