18 months out

I'm glad to hear that Mark's farewell talk went well.  (Mark delivered his farewell talk this past Sunday-He leaves for Utah on March 7.)   My area right now is pretty much kind of like living in O'Fallon. There's a park here that I cut through all the time to use as a short cut. Its ok dad that your haven't been able to write much. I understand. It seems like everyone is getting the flu. All the missionaries around here have been getting sick with it. I've been fortunate enough though not to get sick with it. My companion had an ingrown toenail so Ive been stuck inside the past couple days. I went out with Tyler Wilson yesterday to go contact some people because I don't want to sit inside all day. It gets so boring. I'm going to make him go out Wednsday though. If it still hurts by then he needs to suck it up. So by the way after I get off my mission I want to come back here to go boating with the Hardy's. Sis Hardy's parents have a boat and wake boards and all that. Like that would be so much fun. I think y'all would like them. Anyways that is something I really want to do. They are one of my favorite families that I have met on my mission. Anyway let me know how y'all feel about that. It's hard to believe that I won't see Mark for like 3 1/2 years. I'm thinking I might get to go visit him in NY. Maybe if I'm married I'll bring my wife haha. Anyway not too much is going on here. Just trying to find more people to teach and the usual. We do have a baptism date set for Harrison Bass on March 12. So I'm hoping that I'll be here for that. Transfers will be March 6. I would imagine I would be staying but I could be wrong. The answer is yes I still want a Jeep Wrangler. I might want a stick shift too. If I got one I would want it to be a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Those ones are pretty nice. Sister Betts also fixed my suit coat because it was ripped. She is Marie's mom. It was really nice of them to do that for me. I enjoy visiting with their family as well because they are always nice and welcoming. Anyways I g2g. I hope yall have a good week.

Love

Elder Mattei
