I will probably call during the day. (referring to his call on Mother's Day) The only thing I know about the new mission president is that he was the ceo of the church insurance. It's good to hear Lindsay is choosing not to hang around with some of her friends to make good decisions. Does she not hang out with Michelle anymore? It's bad that Drew Brees will be on the cover of Madden because the person on the cover usually gets hurt. It's called the Madden curse. But Brett Favre didn't get hurt when he was on the cover so who knows. So I have lately been working out and taking protein. It's working pretty well because I'm starting to gain more muscle which is good. Dad I'm glad to hear that your job is going well. Hopefully you can sign True and some other people. Does Mr. Jeff still work over there?
So we are teaching this girl named Amber. Apparently her sister and her have a crush on me. I don't know what it is that attracts 12 yr olds to me but its weird lol. (LOL LOL LOL) Anyways she is a nice girl and her sister was baptized in December. The mom is an active member that is living with some guy. The whole family is pretty messed up. Me and Elder Langi were trying to teach the first lesson to this girl and the mom would like shoot down her kids and put them down and then she let her ex husband in the house and that guy is a huge loser. I just feel bad for their kids. Anyways the girl probably can't get baptized cause she is on parole for assaulting a cop and she is only 13 lol. That's messed up. Anyways I hope everything is going well back home. It sounds like things are going pretty well.
This week:
I'm doing pretty good. I just got back from the doctor's office because Elder Crook had an MRI done this morning and we had to go see if he tore any ligaments in his knee. He just frayed it so he won't have to get surgery or anything like that. No, I still haven't gotten more shoes. Whats the number or email I have to send it to again? I will probably call sometime between 3 and 7 o clock. I can talk for I guess however long I want to. Well lately we haven't really been doing a whole lot of anything because of Elder Crook's knee. We are also out of miles on our car so that really makes things harder. Our area is also kind of slow right now since we have had all those baptisms. So I'm really hoping we can find more people to teach.
We are getting meals and the family that I enjoy the most would probably be the Kerr's. They're a really cool family. Sister Kerr's daughter Denim and her husband are going through St. Louis and I said I lived there so they said if I wanted they would bring some stuff home for me. I just need to get rid of some junk and stuff that I don't use. To get referrals from members basically we just need to gain and build member trust to where they trust enough to teach people. I used object lessons some of the time. I use this egg one for the 3rd lesson and I use the tea bag thing when I do a spirtual thought about faith.
Mark and Lindsay's prom pictures look nice. I have a bunch of missionaries asking me if they can write Lindsay lol. It's crazy how many people are getting married now. That's a lot of people getting married. I found out Saturday I'll be driving up to Boise to go get a new mission car for our area. Dad it seems like the service project went pretty good. How come Todd didn't go? I have tried putting faith in Heavenly Father throughout my mission. I guess a good thing that has came out of it is that we have found new investigators for other missionaries but not for ourselves lol. I'll be sure to keep you in my prayers about the meeting with potential clients. That's cool that y'all watched The Other Side of Heaven. (A Disney movie based on a Mormon missionary's time in Tonga- great movie, it you've never seen it!) I haven't seen that movie in forever. I know a couple of missionaries from Tonga. I'm pretty good friends with one of him. His name is Elder Langi. Well I'm gonna get going. I'll look forward to talkin to yall on Sunday.
