Rollercoaster Road???

So this week I got a new companion, Elder Edwards. He is pretty nice and I knew him pretty well from Caldwell. I will miss Elder Huett though. He was a fun and good companion. He is a little strange but its all good. To be honest I really don't like Jerome that much. Its ok but the wards and stuff aren't that great at helping out as much. I also got yelled at by a Bishop this week. It was over a dinner. I called him and left a message asking if 5 would be ok and told him to call us back and he never did so we just assumed we didn't have a dinner. He calls at 5:30 asking where we are at and starts yelling and stuff and I'm like Im sorry sir but no one called back and I just assumed we didn't have dinner. 

So right now I probaby can't play sports for awhile cause my ankle is still hurting and I have it in a brace. Tell Mark I said Happy Bday. I did remember his bday I just didn't get him a card. There's not really much food I want. The best thing would probably be just like a wal mart gift card or an american express gift card or something. I have no idea what I'd want for Christmas. Probably just a gift card or something and maybe some other things. 

I got Grannies letter. I enjoyed reading it. Tell them Thank you for me. I will try my best to write them back again. I have thought about becoming a teacher. I think it would be kinda fun to do. So nothing new has happened in my area. I guess if you were to pray for anyone I would pray that Callie Mack gets baptized. Im really hoping he will get baptized. We haven't figured out why he doesn't want to be baptized. He says he is ready and everything so I can't figure out why. He just wants it to be the right time. 

So how has everything been going at home? It's good to hear that your job is picking up dad. Hopefully things will continue to do well. So I have a girl in my old area writing me. She is actually the girl I baptized.  She is pretty nice and stuff. I was excited to see that the Saints won. Its good to hear that they're 2-0. I think they play Atlanta this week. That should b a pretty good game. It will be a tough game for sure. LSU has quite a test this week against West Virginia as well.

I also get to live with my former companion Ichirante-Remoune. I think things will be ok even though I didn't get along with him last time. Im not serving with him this time so I think things will turn out ok. Im hoping we can have some baptisms this transfer. It would be good to have some. Trevor is still in Twin Falls. This will be the 3rd missionary to stay in that area for 6 months. Tell Garrett I said hi and I hope he feels better. Hopefully he is enjoying Kindergarten. How are u liking Kindergarten Garrett? I hit my 13 month mark this week. I guess I dont have too much left. How is Mark doing in college? It must be hard for him to leave Melissa.  Mom how do I do a absentee ballot? Its hard to believe that Halloween is coming up soon. Last Halloween I was in Boise for it. It will fall on a Sunday this year. So how are Ashley Russo and RJ doing? Its good that you and Mr. Randy have become better friends. His Rams aren't looking so hot this year lol. Today we got a flat tire and had to take the car into the shop. I think I popped it screwing around in the car in mud and stuff lol. We also ramped the car off these huge hills the other day on this road called rollercoaster road. It was so much fun. We did it in the zone leaders car on the way to a baptismal interview lol. Anyways I g2g. Yall have a good week and take care

Thankfully not a Broken Leg

 I have no idea if I'm training next transfer. I don't really want any leadership in my Mission. I'm content with being just a regular missionary. So I saw the 4th quarter of the Saints game. They looked pretty good. Their field goal kicker though didn't look too great. So this week I was lucky I didn't break my leg. I did a back flip on someone's trampoline and I flipped too late and landed wrong and I heard a loud CRACK noise. I was like oh no I broke my leg. But I was able to walk off and I was like I probably didn't break it cause it didn't hurt as much as I thought. I happened to have 2 massage therapists there and she is like your metatarsals are not right. Apparently my tendon slid up further than what it should be and she told me to lay down and she tugged on my led and popped it back into the right area. It honestly didnt really hurt. But now I'm walkin with a limp. I still wanna do backflips though cause they are a lot of fun. This past week has been slow cause of Labor day. There was like nobody home. We are still trying to get Calley to move towards baptism. Apparently he has been doing this for the past year or so. I don/t know why its taking him so long. Not too much new is going on in the area. Hopefully things will start to pick up and everything. How is the family doing? I hope all is going well with yall. I will do my best to write Mark back. Im probably gonna send a bunch of junk home soon. Can you start sending me stats from the Saints and LSU games? I'm gonna probably send those Saints newspapers home. I would like to frame them when I get back so if yall could keep them in good condition that would be good. I'll probably send some other stuff home like some clothes. So how are Granny and them doing? Its sad that the Cardinals probably won't go to the playoffs. I just hope they resign Albert Pujols. They would be stupid not to. I'm trying to think of anything new we did this week. I get transfer calls sometime this week so I will find out if I will  be leaving or staying. How are things going with your new job Dad? Definitely "Greggish" ~ Missionary Work mingled with thoughts of Football, Girls and Video Games

This week has been good. Calley is progressing by going to church but we are trying to figure out what his hold up is with baptism. We had a zone conference like 2 weeks ago but we have them every other transfer now so it will be awhile when we have zone conference again. My zone is extremly small. It is the size of my district which is about 8 people.

O yeah I know who John Bytheway is because I have a ton of his talks. They're pretty good talks, I just hate how he tells jokes about his last name and stuff. It gets kinda old after awhile. It stinks to hear that Lindsay's friend won't be baptized. She can be baptized when she is 18 though. For people like that I would say they need to look into it themselves and not be asking a 3rd source about what Mormons believe. That would be like me going to a Chevy dealership and asking about a Ford Mustang. Of course they're gonna say negative things about the Mustang. Thats kind of how I look at it. Lindsay has a close friend who has shown a serious interest in our church.  Unfortunately her parents have been persuaded by anti-Mormon literature and some anti-Mormon contacts. 

Tell the Russos I said hi and tell Mr. Darryl he still owes me a Blizzard lol. Apparently the BSU and VT game was a good one. I saw like the first quarter and then had to go. Yesterday wasn't a day off although it felt kind of like one. We hauled wood and stuff for most of the day and then burned it in a huge fire. I also learned how to do a backflip on Friday. It's a really cool less active family who own this gymnastics gym. She would spot me and stuff until I got the hang out if myself. I think I will eventually learn how to do a back flip off the wall. It was pretty fun to learn how to do though. I'm hoping the Saints will win this Monday (Thursday). It should be a pretty good game. I heard LSU should have lost. I kinda hope Les Miles gets fired cause LSU hasn't been living up to its potential. 

Time on my mission seems to be going by pretty fast and things seem to be doing well. I feel like more needs to be done with our area. Things just seem to be slow and hard to get going in the wards. We are teaching a lot of lessons but I don't feel they are really that productive. I'm still also trying to learn where everything is and such and remember peoples names. I got to go to Twin this weekend for a baptism of a boy I started teaching. Their name is the Cernicks and I got a hold of that family finally before I left Twin Falls. We went to the baptism and saw some families that I know there and then we went to a after party thing. I found out that the girl I baptized thinks I'm cute lol. She's not to bad lookin lol. I think she is pretty cute. She is the one that I baptized before I left and she has a little boy. 

You need to limit Todd to computer use and stuff btw. Apparently he is like always on Call of Duty. People who added me on there always say that. And tell him to change my name back to LSUTigers08. Apparently he changed it and now people on my mission can't add me anymore and I don't want one of his gay names when I get back home. 

U need to start getting more sleep mom. It won't be good if you call in sick too many days. Dad, its good to hear that your back is feeling better. I did use up all of that Visa card. I figured I had enough for Sushi but I didn't. It was all you can eat sushi. I only get shellfish cause its cooked. I have tried real sushi such as raw fish and I didn't care for it too much cause I don't like the texture of it in my mouth. O yeah I wrote Granny and them a letter finally. I will send it out tomorrow so they should get it by the weekend hopefully. 

A lot of people this week haven't been home and have been hard to get a hold of cause no one was home for the last week of summer. Man what Tyler is going through is crazy. I don't think I could ever do that. I have a lot of respect for him. That's impressive that he is able to go through all that.Tyler is a friend who is serving a mission in Mexico.  I think Greg is quite humbled by some of the  primitive conditions and such that Tyler describes in his emails.  So how is Julian and the Barnes family doing? Anything new in the ward? How long has Bishop Tuttle been a Bishop? I doubt he will be my bishop when I get back. It seems like he has been doing it for about 5 or 6 years.  ;)    Anyways I need to get going. We are gonna probaly go play racketball or something. Yall take car and have a good week.
