Farewell to Twin Falls

I'm in Jerome Idaho. Its like 10 miles away from Twin Falls so its not very far. Its a dairy town and there's a lot of country. I don't how much I'll like it but we'll see. I'm actually already packed and moved in to the house. The house we live in has no AC so it gets pretty hot. My companion is Elder Huett. He is a pretty nice person but he is really quiet so its hard to talk to him. I live with some Zone leaders too. They're ok but don't care too much for them. I packed just about everything. I haven't gotten Marks letter yet but I did get my shoes. I was happy to get a new pair of shoes. I'm sorry to hear things aren't working out with Melissa. Thats a bummer that they didn't.(Mark and his girlfriend, Melissa are fine, but he brought her to church and we don't think she really liked it at all; which makes it kind of hard for Mark as he too prepares for a mission.   It sucked saying goodbye to everyone cause I had gotten so used to the area. It was quite a bummer to leave. I had become good friends with a lot of people. Trina's baptism went well. She had asked me to  baptize her so I did. I'll miss my old area but I guess it's time to move on.  Jerome has a lot of Mexicans and it smells like cows all the time lol. Mark's video was pretty funny. I got a good laugh out of it. (I sent him a video of Mark after he got his wisdom teeth removed. ) Today I went to the temple and stuff and I'm kinda in a bad mood. Im just not having the best day I guess. How is everyone doing? How does Thomas like his new Mario game? I remember that talk by  Elder Uchdorf. It was a pretty good talk and I enjoyed it.( a talk I reference from last conference on us being the Savior's hands.)  Today has been a boring day cause we have done nothing. I feel bad for having my companion come to Twin to pick up dry cleaning because I said there would be something fun to do and there is nothing to do at all. I feel bad cause I pretty much wasted his P-Day. Its hard to belive that everyone is going away to college out of Mark's friends. Where is Mark Lemen going? Is he gonna go to SCC with Mark? Anyways I'm gonna get goin. I hope yall have a good week.

Another Baptism

Well we have a baptism this Saturday. I will be baptizing this girl Trina Canner. She is 18 or 19 and she has a kid. Her family is really nice and I enjoy visiting with them. The mom is working on going to the temple kinda.  Anyways I'm doing the actual baptism which will be cool. Chris Gonterman is also looking to be baptized but he has to give up chew first. He is hilarious and always fun to go over and teach. Its gonna stink having to leave this area. I don't find out till tomorrow if I leave or not. Most of our zone will be gettin transfered out because our mission president doesn't trust us. This Elder who went home early who was on a mini mission. It was the one who ran away last Tuesday. Anyways he said our zone always hangs out and throws a party or something at each others houses. He totally exaggerated stuff and made stuff up. He also mentioned these keys we have. We call it our God key that can open any door in the church. We only used it for the library so we could make copies for progress records and the stake wont give us keys to libraries so we were having to card the door. Well anyways we have to gid rid of the God keys.(not sure what he's talking about here)  I'm probably gonna go buy a tote sometime this week to pack all of my junk in. I've gotten quite a bit of stuff I guess. Well kinda. I'll have to see after I pack everything how much stuff I've got. Dad you should read that Drew Brees book cause it talks a lot about putting trust in God. Its actually a very good book and I enjoy reading it. Yeah I saw all the stuff about Brett Favre retiring when I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings today. It was really good. To answer your question I doubt I will be training now cause President Cannon doesn't trust our zone. Even though in all honestly we haven't really done anything wrong. I attended the temple today. It was pretty good. We got up early to go. I've been tired all day because of it. I just feel like takin a nap right now. So hows the weather over there? Is it hot and humid? Anyways I've got to get going. Yall have a good week.

Things Picking Up

The week has been going good. We have been pretty busy and the work has picked up a ton. I think we will be setting some baptismal dates pretty soon. The Burmese people are doing well although sometimes its hard to communicate cause of a language barrier. It consists of like 4 or 5 families. So Its a total of like 14 or 15 people. I might be leaving TF but I dont know. If I train I would probably stay here and train (training a brand new missionary). I've really enjoyed this area and the people I have taught. I thought the flat Thomas was pretty cool although it looks like his head might fall off. (Thomas sent a school project which was a flat version of himself to Greg.  Flat Thomas already made a trip to New Orleans to visit with a close family friend and Thomas decided to send him to Idaho as well. )I really like that Drew Brees book. It has a lot of motivational stuff and he talks about God a lot. He is a really good person and has a pretty big trust in God it seems like. Im already about 120 pages through it. I got grannys letter. I;m gonna make it a point to write them this week. You need to send that thing for my shoes in this week for sure cause my shoes are like falling apart. They are so much worse than what they were when I took that picture. The outside of them is fine but the inside is like shredding and stuff. My fav scripture is probably Alma 7 11-12 where it talks about Christs atonement. Or somewhere in the Doctrine and Covenants but I don't remember the verse or chapter. What do you mean by fav story to share? Like scripture story or what? So we are teaching a couple of new families. We are teaching the Canners and sis Canners daughter is not a member and she is less active but has been coming. She is kinda stubborn but she is pretty tight. We are teaching the Dixons. I don't much about them yet except he is a cop. Then theres the Cernicks who I finally got a hold of after trying for the past 4 months. I contacted them on exchanges last Tuesday. They want us to teach their kids that aren't baptized the lessons and help them going to church. Brother Cernick is tight and let me read his video game magazine. I talked to him about video games awhile. Tell Todd I have a kid named Trevan he can play with on xbox live. His name is Burk somethin on xbox live. Tell him he is really good. Brother Scollingburg my WML  (ward mission leader) for 16th ward also added my xbox live account and I'm gonna play with him when I get home. I'm pretty cool with him. He showed me the new Halo that's coming out and he is like when you get home we are gonna have to play this lol. I definitely miss video games. I have only played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on my mission and I played it for like 10 min. It was in like January though. Otherwise I haven't touched a video game my whole mission. The only reason I played that is because the guy I was teaching threw it to me when I came in his house lol. Tell Chubbs (Greg's nickname for Garrett) I said hi. I hope everyone is doing ok. Well apparently some missionary took off. He is like on a mini mission and apparently he wants to go home. None of us know where he is so we are gonna have to go and look for him. He's a freakin idiot for just takin off. His companion is pretty frustrated. Anyways I g2g. Yall have a good week and take care
